Foundation 

Your foundation is your canvas, and choosing it can be the most important decision you make. Don't go mad, spending loads of money on eyeshadows and lip colour then spoil it with poor quality foundation. It might take longer, but for Natural Girls, blending formulas or even colours to make the right shade is well worth the effort.  Use your fingers and dab the colour over the face blending it with a makeup sponge.  (Just a note here to make sure you rinse any applicator well - all that hard work can be spoiled if you have a bacteria-ridden sponge, especially with organic or natural products). To make a light foundation for those "good day faces" mix a little foundation with moisturiser. Your concealer, if you need it should be one shade lighter than your foundation, applied with a brush to the under-eyes or to blemishes and over uneven skin colour. 

Finish 

Lightly apply translucent powder over your whole face to set base.  Apply neutral colour eye shadow smoothing with a fingertip or applicator over the entire lid, try to get right along the lash line.  To get a smooth finish, blend upward.  Finish with a thick layer of mascara to top and bottom lashes. Try using a white eye pencil on the inside of the bottom eyelid if you want to make eyes bigger and/or brighter. Apply a dewy fresh blush to the apples of your cheeks, apply lightly and be sure to blend well. On lips, use a pale glossy finish - pale pinks and nudes are best.
