Organic Skin Care - Look After Your Assets! There's a growing feeling that we must all preserve our looks even into old age and with the emphasis on self-help these days, today's woman has a hard time sorting the wheat from the chaff. There's no doubt though, with the increase of life threatening diseases like cancer and lesser (but extremely painful or psychologically damaging) skin conditions like excema and acne, any product we put on our skin should not harm your skin. This certainly hasn't been the case for many established cosmetic products. Using organic skin care and/or natural products is a really good way to start giving your skin the care it deserves. In addition, a healthy diet, rich in fruit and veg (don't protest!) and lots of water will also have a beneficial effect. I've said it before and I probably won't stop saying it - we are what we eat and there's no getting round it. But don't despair, you can start small and work your way up to your "five a day". You'll certainly feel better for it. If you're using healthy skincare products on a healthy skin, it can't help but be a winning combination!
For a daily skin treat, I use Perfect Organics Shea Butter. I absolutely love this; it's like magic in a pot. Really pure, it accommodates all skin types, from the tenderest to the toughest. They also do it in all these fab flavours like Hazelnut Coffee, Lavender Lavish and Mandarin Chocolate. I say flavours - because believe me, they really do smell good enough to eat. You should try it. |
