No Lingering Stains!

Some of the problems associated with faking it include the dreaded staining.  Fake Bake use an organic colour for application – it helps you see where you’ve applied the lotion and it does wash off!  The tan itself though doesn't!  What could be better?  Since organic color pigment is not a stain or a dye, it will not permanently stain and will wash out of any synthetic material.  A normal wash cycle is all that’s need - no pre-laundering treatments necessary.

Long-lasting and beautiful to behold

The unique Dihydroxy (DHA) is what creates your tan. Will it wash off your skin?  No! Just like a tan from the sun, this tan with its breakthrough formula won’t wash off.  Fake Bake probably only needs to be applied an average of once or twice a week depending on your own tanning maintenance schedule.  It’s your choice – deepen your tan with more frequent applications.   DHA is not permanent, so it will fade just like any suntan, which is why a weekly application is recommended to maintain your tan; follow Glow Girl’s tips for Fake Bake and get it right every time.

Because the level of moisture in each skin type varies, drying time will also vary slightly.  In general, we have found that 20 minutes is sufficient time for the product to dry.  Many choose to apply the product several hours before going to bed to ensure that the product has dried completely.

A final word from Glow Girl - keep up your sun protection regime!  While fake tans are safer than suntans or solarium tans, it is important to be aware that self-tanning lotions offer little protection from UV radiation. So if you're taking a trip outside in the sunshine to show off your new fake tan, you'll still need to use some suncream.
